Mumbai: Director Mohit Suri is ecstatic with the success of Ek Villain and we hear that he is already planning his next Hamari Adhuri Kahani with cousin Emraan Hashmi. In the past, the two have delivered hits such as Zeher, Kalyug, Awaarapan to name a few.

Mohit says, “Yes, Hamari Adhuri Kahani is most likely to star Emraan. It has been a while since we worked together. It’s always great working with him. We started out together as assistant directors. He achieved stardom before me and he is someone I look up to. The film will be a thriller with its share of good music like our films have always had.”

As of now, the filmmaker is still celebrating the success of his last release. He says, “I have never seen these kind of box office numbers in the first week. Aashiqui 2 started to pick up only in its sixth week. The feeling is yet to sink in.”

The only dampener in the high spirits has been the paparazzi’s ban on Shraddha Kapoor. Speaking about it, Mohit says, “I don’t know exactly what happened between them. They are angry about some past incident, but we have tried convincing them. Being married to an actress (Udita Goswami) myself, I know that little things matter a lot to them. Sometimes they don’t want to be photographed if they feel their hair and makeup is not in place. I’m sure Shraddha didn’t do it intentionally. She has apologised to them and I’m hoping the issue is sorted.”
