London: Rapper Kanye West got booed by fans at the Wireless festival here reportedly because he talked more than he performed his songs. West, 37, talked about discrimination in the fashion industry, which did not go well with the fans, who were waiting to see him perform, reported the Daily Mirror.
"I'm not going to mention any names but Nike, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. Don't discriminate against me 'cos I'm a black man making music," West said on July 4 night at the festival.
Fans showed their anger on Twitter, with one writing, "If anyone is going to wireless tomorrow get a refund! Kanye sings for 20 minutes then literally does a speech for 35 minutes!!"
Another posted the video of the audience loudly booing him and wrote, "Kanye West getting booed during a rant wireless."
