Hyderabad: The shooting for the historical film Rudramadevi, directed by Gunasekhar, is going on the outskirts of Hyderabad at a big set that has been erected for the film.
The shooting is currently underway for Allu Arjun’s entry as Gona Ganna Reddy. Catherine Tresa plays Gona Ganna Reddy’s wife and is currently part of the shoot with Allu Arjun. “Both the characters sacrifice their lives in the film,” says a source from the unit.
The director is almost through with the film’s shooting and has only scenes involving Gona Ganna Reddy to be shot. A few scenes involving junior artistes are also being shot currently.
Anushka and Rana play the lead and Krishnam Raju, Prakash Raj, Suman and many other character artistes play important characters in this 3D film. The shooting will continue till the 9th of this month.
