M K Narayanan under CBI scrutiny
M.K. Narayanan, is being probed in connection with VVIP AgustaWestland deal case
New Delhi: The CBI is analysing the witness testimony of the former West Bengal Governor, M.K. Narayanan, given to the agency in connection with its probe into the Rs 3,600 crore VVIP AgustaWestland deal case.
Sources, however, said the statement of Mr Narayanan, who was also the former National Security Adviser, is still in scrutiny stage and no conclusive view has been taken whether to include him as witness in the chargesheet or as an accused.
Sources said Mr Narayanan’s statement is being examined in the light of former IAF chief S.P. Tyagi’s statement that specifications were advised to be changed by a committee which comprised Mr Narayanan.
