Kadapa district seemed to be the safest place for women with least number of rape

Hyderabad: Hyderabad police registered 101 rape case in 2013. At 19, Kadapa district seemed to be the safest place for women with the least number of rape incidents last year. “We are confident that less cases would be reported this year since we have increased surveillance in our limits,” said a senior police official from Cyberabad.
The undivided AP police had registered 1,5084 cases of dowry harassment, 1595 case of women abduction cases, and 492 dowry deaths. Meanwhile top cops refuted the argument that crime against woman was increased in the state, saying that more women were approaching the police to report incidents unlike other states.
