CM KCR discusses setting up of TSPSC with Governor
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao called on Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan on Saturday. Sources said Mr Rao discussed the issue of setting up the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) at the earliest to enable his government to take up fresh recruitment drives for the benefit of youth and unemployed.
Mr Rao also discussed convening of Legislative Council in the first week of July to elect chairman, which is presently headed by acting chairman Nethi Vidyasagar. TRS MLC Swami Goud is tipped to become the chairman, it is learnt.

Though there is a provision in the AP Reorganisation Bill-2014 to entrust the responsibility of conducting recruitment exams to Union Public Service Commission till TSPSC is formed, Mr Rao explained that there were several practical difficulties in doing that.
The recruitment exams have been completely stalled in both the states since July last year, when then UPA government has decided to bifurcate the state.
