Bar licence notification out

Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Saturday issued bar licence notification as per the new Excise Policy 2014-15. The bar license fee in a municipality or municipal corporation with population above 20 lakh is set at Rs 38 lakhs per year, where as in an area with population between 5 lakh-20 lakh the fee is Rs 35 lakh, and in an area below 50,000 population it is Rs 25 lakh.

This apart, there will be an additional 9 per cent of value added tax on Indian made foreign liquor and foreign liquor.
