Analytics biz to grow by $2b

Hyderabad: The domestic analytics market in India is set to grow at a CAGR of 25 per cent and is predicted to cross $2 billion mark by FY 2018, according to the report unveiled by Nasscom in association with Blueocean Market Intel-ligence titled ‘Industria-lisation of Analytics in India: Big Opportunity, Big Outcome’.

Presently the size of analytics market is at a nascent stage of $1 billion.

Talking on the sidelines of the release, Ashwin Mittal, president, Blueocean Market Intelligence said, “India is still in the early stages of growth and although we arelagging by five years from the world usage of analytics, there is huge potential with some sectors like finance and telecom, which are already taking the lead.”
