Manaus: Switzerland head into their final group game level on points , but Ecuador are just ahead on goal difference. Honduras, meanwhile, have yet to pick up a point, but they too aren't mathematically eliminated. Wednesday's matches should be plenty entertaining.
Honduras manager Luis Fernando Suárez will welcome back midfielder Wilson Palacios back from suspension after he was sent off for a second bookable offense in the opening match against France. Without second thought coach will be putting him straight into the starting lineup. For Switzerland players midfield battle will be really tough and expect some challenges in the centre of the park. Honduras aren't expected to twinkle much with their playing eleven. Suárez is likely to keep both Carlo Costly and Jerry Bengtson up front, giving Honduras firepower offensively.
Switzerland coach Ottmar Hitzfeld has some rather more difficult decisions to make. He enforced change in team in their match against France in absence of center back Steve von Bergen, who suffered a facial injury in that defeat. Fabian Schär or Philippe Senderos will replacing him.
