Hyderabad: A 28-year-old woman was allegedly molested by two Agricultural University staffers, who promised her admission to a nursing course. The victim approached the police alleging that the duo took her to Shamshabad and misbehaved with her.
The police have started a hunt for the culprits, Md. Moiz and Md. Amjad, who work as clerks at the ANGR Agricultural University in Rajendranagar.
The victim said, the duo lives near her house in Bhavaninagar and had became acquainted with her, as she was searching for a job, the duo convinced her that if she does a nursing course, she can bag a job. “She alleged that they promised her admission to a nursing course in a college and took her in a car to shamshabad, and started misbehaving with her,” said SI Kanakaiah.
The victim said, the duo dropped her back at her house and fled. On a complaint from the victim, the Rajendranagar police booked a case. “We have booked a case under Section 354 for outraging a woman’s modesty,” said Mr Kanakaiah.
Police said the victim was married, but her husband was living separately.
