Mumbai: Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s driver was arrested by the Bandra Police on Wednesday June 26. The 35 year-old driver was accused of raping actress Sangita Bijlani’s domestic help.
Rajendra Gautam also known as Pintu Mishra acquired the victim’s phone number through a friend.
The accused promised the girl, who is originally from Latur, Maharashtra, a job at a celebrity’s home. The incident occurred at a hotel in Nalasopara, a suburban area in Mumbai.
Gautam has been booked under several sections of the Indian Penal Code and will be produced before the Bandra court today.
