Mumbai: Popular PC gaming service, Steam’s annual summer sale has started with unbelievable discounts on some of the biggest games of all times and that too for rock bottom prices. And they have introduced the concept of teams. Players get randomly assigned to teams and whichever team earns the most points (i.e. spends the most money) each day, wins that particular day. 30 random members from the winning team will receive the top 3 games on their wishlist as a reward.
Steam has also integrated their trading card system into the sale once again. The sale will continue till the end of the month with new deals every few hours. If Steam isn’t your thing then there’s still luck with Game4U’s monsoon sale that started on June 23 and will continue till July 7. The sales boast of discounts upto 65 per cent on popular titles with rewards for gamers.
The first place spender wins a ZotacZbox ID42 Plus, second place spender wins Gunnar eyewear and the one in the third place wins Gunnar caps and a Gunnar branded USB Drive (4GB). There are also Gunnar T-shirts to be won.
But, be careful as spending tends to get out of hand when sales like these come around.
