Incomplete work annoys Chief Secretary

Mr Sharma directed officials to complete the process and get the offices ready by June 30

Hyderabad: Telangana chief secretary Rajiv Sharma said that many ministers were complaining that their offices were not ready hampering full-fledged functioning.

In a meeting held on Tuesday with all the principal secretaries, the CS said that he was unsatisfied with the pace at which the pending works were being taken up. Certain sections of the Andhra Pradesh government are said to be still functioning from Telangana Secretariat offices.

Mr Sharma directed officials to complete the process and get the offices ready by June 30.

Though the Telangana government was keen to get going and start functioning, lack of offices, departmental files, vehicles, chambers and staff for the ministers have affected the functioning

Even 22 days after the formation of the new government on June 2, many ministers still do not have proper offices, chambers and staff to function from the Secretariat.

Offices including Secretariat, directorates and even the name boards of the respective departments were not ready.
