Hyderabad: After his negative role in Legend, Jagapathi Babu is now playing a villain in Rajinikanth starrer Lingaa . The film started last month, and Jagapathi Babu has joined the unit a couple of days back. At present some important scenes with Jagapathi and Rajinikanth are being shot. Rajini’s warm welcome made Jagapathi feel very comfortable with the actor. “Rajinikanth has appreciated Jagapathi Babu’s decision to do negative characters. He also praised Jagapathi’s performance on the sets,” says a close source from the unit. At present the shoot is on in Hyderabad and it will continue for another week. Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha are playing the female leads opposite Rajinikanth. Interestingly Jagapathi and Rajinikanth have earlier worked together in a Telugu film called Kathanayakudu.
