Microsoft wants your MacBook Air
Microsoft, after offering an exchange offer for the iPhone and iPad, is now offering an exchange offer for the Surface Pro 3.
Microsoft is offering a whopping $650 to owners of the MacBook Air to trade-in their laptops in exchange of the Surface Pro 3. The offer is valid between June 20 and July 31.
The offer is valid on the device’s present condition and specific models. The laptops should be in working condition. However, the offer is valid only in US and Canada.
According to Microsoft, the Surface Pro 3 can replace your laptop. The Surface Pro 3 is available for $799 on its online stores.
The Surface Pro 3 sports a 12-inch display with a resolution of 2160x1440 pixels. It features a 4th generation Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor with memory options of 4GB or 8GB. The internal storage options vary between 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n and Bluetooth v4.0. Connectivity ports include full-size USB 3.0, micro SD card reader and a mini DisplayPort. The Operating system bundled with the tablet is Windows 8.1 Professional. The tablet weighs in at 800 grams, is 9.1mm thick and has an internal battery that can last up to 9 hours. Bundled with the product are a Surface pen and a charger. You can optionally buy a display protector, the Surface Pro Type Cover, which also doubles as a full-sized keyboard and a touch pad.
