KCR would take up cancellation of PPA by AP govt and seek special status for Telangana
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 26. Sources said Mr Rao would submit a memorandum to the Prime Minister, requesting him to cancel the Ordinance merging seven mandals in Khammam under the Polavaram project into Andhra Pradesh, take up the cancellation of Power Purchase Agreements by the AP government, seek special status for the new state, central assistance for the development of the state among others.
He would leave Hyderabad for New Delhi on June 25 and camp there till June 26. Mr Rao may also meet some Union ministers along with the party MPs, it is learnt.
