Mumbai: His last film Fukrey was a surprise hit for newbie Pulkit Samrat and one that got him noticed by the industry. His next O Teri sank without a trace at the box office but the young actor took it in his stride. And now he is gearing up for Junooniyat, his first out-and-out love story.
We hear that director Vivek Agnihotri has been inspired by the Yash Chopra school of filmmaking. “This one is going to be my ode to Yash Chopra, the master of love stories and a great inspiration. I believe Pulkit and Yami make for a great on-screen couple and I can promise that it is going to be a musical to watch out for next year.”
With Aashiqui 2 producer Bhushan Kumar helming this film one hope Vivek’s words come true. Now it remains to be seen if Pulkit would spread his arms like Shah Rukh Khan.
