Power cut hits Andhra Pradesh Assembly
Supply to the Assembly building tripped at 10.46 am when the House was in session
Hyderabad: Even the ongoing session of AP Assembly was not spared of power cut. Supply to the Assembly building tripped at 10.46 am on Friday when the House was in session. Though important government buildings like Assembly and Secretariat are exempted from power cuts, the power supply to was disrupted due to “tripping” of feeder at 220 KV main line at Shapurnagar. Though power was disrupted, some of the lights and sound system were supported by UPS. Transco officials said power was restored in a minute.
