Jhalak Dikhla Jaa judge Maksim’s desi act
Mumbai: We hear that after much talk about how international judge Maksim Chmerkovskiy had a tough time in India because he couldn’t understand the language, he made sure he learnt some phrases before leaving.
Our source says, “Maksim took some time to understand the catch-phrases the jury would use to applaud a performance. Staying true to the theme of ‘Made in India’ this week, Maksim spoke some lines in Hindi, Punjabi and Marathi to appreciate performances.”
Maksim surprised everyone on the sets when he used phrases like “Bahut unda performance tha” after watching Punit and Mouni’s tandav act, “Tehelka macha diya” after watching Ashish and Shampa’s romantic act. The dancer also performed with the choreographers to a Bollywood song.
