Rumours are that Trisha will play the lead in the Southern versions of Queen

Hyderabad: Actor and director Tyagarajan brought the rights of the Hindi film Queen to remake it in the South in four languages. Kangana plays the main lead in the Hindi, and industry rumours are that Trisha will play the lead in the Southern versions. On Wednesday, Tyagarajan held a press conference in Hyderabad to clear the rumours. Tyagarajan said,“We have not yet decided who the lead actress will be. We will announce the name of the actress soon.” He added that he is making the film in all the Southern languages. He denies that he approached Trisha for this character.
“At present we are scouting for places for shooting of the film. Once we have finalised that we will share all details,” he says.
