Mumbai: Though busy with the promotion of his own film, Humshakals, Saif Ali Khan will take time out to promote Armaan Jain’s (Kareena’s cousin) debut flick Lekar Hum Diwana Dil.
Armaan and Ranbir Kapoor — cousins in real life – will be playing a football match, representing competing teams. However, the other members of the teams have not yet been disclosed.
A source says, “Saif Ali Khan, who also loves to play football, will be joining Armaan Jain’s team along with his Humshakals cast. This platform will benefit both Humshakals and LHDD.”
Saif, who is a co-producer of LHDD, says, “Yes. I have left the production under the control of Dinesh Seth, but if at all my presence is needed to promote the debut actor and our family member Armaan, I will surely participate in it. I love watching football, especially the World Cup matches.
My favourite team is Italy. I do not like to miss their matches.
“Since I played football as a youth, I will surely play for Armaan’s team. Why not? If the cast of Humshakals can join, it will be great fun.”
