TRS warns TD leader for criticising Chief Minister

Mr Ramana accused TRS government of bringing in new excise policy to boost revenues

Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samiti warned Telangana Telugu Desam leaders against unwarranted allegations and criticism of the TRS government and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar.

TRS politburo member Rajaiah Yadav said the TRS would file a defamation suit against Telangana TD leader, Mr L. Ramana for his baseless allegations against the TRS government and the Chief Minister.

“We are not going to tolerate this kind of baseless allegations. We will drag him to court,” he warned.

Mr Ramana had accused the TRS government of bringing in new excise policy to boost revenues ignoring the health of people, Opposition denied a chance to air public grievances in the first Assembly session and KCR dominated it.

He also questioned why the TRS did not demand national project status for Pranahita Chevella.

Taking exception to the comments, Mr Rajaiah Yadav said the TRS fought for national project status for Prahanita Chevella.

Mr Rajaiah Yadav also held Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu responsible for merging of seven mandals in Khammam with AP and playing with the lives of Girijans.

Earlier, Mr Koppula Eshwar, MLA, said the TRS has a big agenda for the reconstruction of Telangana and blamed Mr Chandrababu Naidu for merging seven mandals in Khammam with AP.

“Telangana Telugu Desam leaders are indulging in cheap talk. The just concluded Assembly Session was the most disciplined and conducted in a dignified manner. KCR cleared all doubts regarding loan waiver scheme, yet the TD leaders are indulging in unwarranted criticism,” he remarked.

Mr Eshwar questioned the TD leaders why Mr Naidu did not implement loan waiver scheme. “Why is he silent? Why is he delaying announcement and trying to buy time with committees? The TD leaders are trying to tarnish the image of the TRS government, but they will not succeed,” he said.
