I taught Hindi to Katrina, but was easier to teach Jacqueline: Salman

The actor talks about his upcoming movie Kick and co-star Jacqueline Fernandez

Mumbai: During the trailer launch of his upcoming film Kick, which is due for an Id release, Salman Khan regaled the gathering with anecdotes from the film.

Stating that he has been responsible for teaching Hindi to many of his heroines, Salman says, “My latest heroine, Jacqueline Fernandez, speaks Hindi with the team very well. But when she is asked to speak Hindi out of turn, she gets nervous and is unable to speak. I taught Hindi to Katrina Kaif too, if that’s what you guys want to know,” he said with a straight face, adding, “And teaching Hindi to Jacqueline was easier.”

The superstar speaks very highly about his leading lady. “The first time when I watched the rushes, I felt Jacqueline resembled Zeenat Aman,” he says, paying her the ultimate compliment.

“I have experienced innumerable ‘kicks’ in this life,” says Salman, alluding to his love life, adding with a wicked smile, “With every ‘kick’ I would go ahead two steps at least. But out of the many ‘kicks’ it’s very difficult for me to chose the most solid one.”

The superstar has come a long way from his Maine Pyar Kiya days, when he would be seen in discos in pretty outlandish clothes by today’s standards. Ducking the query, he says, “Oh! Wearing red and white pants and a white pair of shoes? You must have mistaken Jitendra as me.”

Salman has some great stunts and action sequences in Kick. Talking about the shot where he is shown taking on a running train on his bike, he says, “I am glad that everyone likes the shot in which I overtake the train on my bike. In my next flick I could be overtaking a plane with my car.”

In the trailer of the film, Salman is also seen delivering a dialogue in Telugu: “Nenu urgent ga toilet vellai”. Given the fact that the film is a remake of a 2009 Telugu film of the same name, the film will have a special place in the hearts of Telugu audiences.
