Infosys 3.0 picks new generals

Infosys has elevated 12 leaders to the position of executive vice president

Bengaluru: With the appointment of Vishal Sikka as CEO and managing director of the company, Infosys has elevated 12 leaders to the position of executive vice president with additional responsibilities.

Among those who have made it to the list of EVP’s are CFO Rajiv Bansal; Sandeep Dadlani, along with the responsibilities as head, retail, CPG and logistics, and head of Americas; and Sanjay Jalona in addition to being head, manufacturing and engineering services.

Mohit Joshi who is also made EVP will also function as head, financial services and Infosys Brazil and Infosys Mexico, while Rajesh Krishnamurthy will be head, energy and communications and services (Europe) and also head of Europe.

Infosys which announced the appointment of Mr Sikka as new CEO and MD on June 12 had said that the company has elevated 12 leaders to the position of EVP with additional responsibilities. It had also elevated U.B. Pravin Rao, president and whole time director, as COO, with effect from June 14, 2014.

Mr Sikka who has been inducted as a whole-time director of the board and CEO and MD (designate) on June 14, 2014 will take over as CEO and MD from S.D. Shibulal on August 1, 2014.

Others who have made it to the list of executive vice president are Ranganath D. Mavinakere with responsibilities of head, CEO’s office and corporate centre; Srikantan Moorthy- head, human resources and executive sponsor, Infosys Lea-dership Institute; Binod Hampapur Rangadore head, talent fulfilment function. Ravi Kumar S as head, insurance, cards and payments; Manish Tan-don as head, life sciences and services, North America. — PTI
