FIFA World Cup 2014: Germany drub Portugal 4-0 as Mueller, Hummels score
Salvador (Brazil): Germany face Portugal in Group G's first game at Salvador in Brazil.

* Ronaldo is denied at the near-post by Neuer after Philipp Lahm is robbed of the ball by Miguel Veloso. Then at the other end Portugal keeper sends a clearance staright to Sami Khedira, but the Germany midfielder's shot flies narrowly wide of the post

* Mario Gotze almost makes the fourth goal for Germany, his strike is deflected over the bar after he met Schurrle's pull back.

*Mustafi comes in to replace Hummels which marks an important substitution for Germany. Hummels appears to be badly hurt as there is blood on his knee.
* B. Alves (Portugal) concedes a free-kick following a challenge on Kroos (Germany).
* Muller scores the fourth goal for Germany at the 78th minute
* Mueller scores his hat-trick! Schurrle's cross-cum-shot from a tight angle is not dealt with by Patricio and Muller is on hand to tap home from point-blank range. He is now the top scorer at the tournament.
* Ronaldo completes a full 90 minutes. His presence will be imperative if Portgual are to recover and qualify for the knock-out rounds.
