CM Chandrababu Naidu keen to make AP power surplus
After bifurcation AP is suffering tremendous power cuts
Hyderabad: AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is focusing on the power sector, as he wants to overcome the electricity deficit.
To this end, he is looking at all possibilities to generate power. Mr Naidu held discussions with Mr Kamalakar Babu, vice-chairman of Nredcap (New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation) to look at alternative methods of electricity generation.
Mr Babu submitted a report to the Chief Minister on different sources to generate power, including solar and wind systems, mini hydel plants and biomass. Mr Naidu asked the energy official to discuss solar and wind power options with principal secretary G. Sai Prasad.
