Andhra Pradesh Assembly from June 19
Hyderabad: The first Assembly session of Andhra Pradesh will begin at 11.43 am on June 19 and continue up to June 24. Senior Telugu Desam MLA P. Narayana Swamy Naidu will take oath as protem Speaker on June 18 at Raj Bhavan.
On the first day of the session, all MLAs-elect will take the oath before the protem Speaker. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will be the first to take the oath, followed by his Cabinet ministers and then the MLAs in alphabetical order.
The elections for the Assembly Speaker and Deputy Speaker will be held on June 20. The election notification will be issued on the first day of the session.
Governor Narasimhan will address members of both Houses on June 21. Both Houses will discuss on Governor’s speech on June 23 and 24. The CM will give his reply to the discussion on June 24, after which the Assembly session will be adjourned sine die.
Finance and legislative affairs minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu briefed the media on Sunday about the Assembly session schedule after taking charge as minister in the Secretariat.
