Hyderabad: A minor girl was allegedly gangraped by three youngsters in Kondapur of Medak district. The incident, which occurred a few days ago, came to light on Thursday. The victim was abducted and raped in the house of one of the accused. In an inebriated condition, the accused had revealed what they had done to other villagers. The 13-year-old girl, a Class IX student, and the accused stay in the same neighbourhood. A couple of days ago, when she went to fill water from a nearby tank, the accused, identified as Vigneshwar Reddy, an agricultural engineering student, Tirupathi Reddy, a computer science student, and Govardhan, a polytechnic student, all in their early twenties, abducted her.
“They took her to Vigneshwar’s house and raped her. Vigneshwar is the victim’s cousin,” said H. Chandraiah, investigating officer. The accused have been taken into custody.
