Mumbai: After the runaway success of Aashiqui 2, director Mohit Suri has been doing what every successful star in Bollywood does at some point — field allegations. He has been making headlines for his obsession with Shraddha Kapoor. We hear this has caused a rift between the director and his wife and former actress Udita Goswami.
Responding to the buzz he says, “To set the record straight, I do love Shraddha — just the way I love Aditya Roy Kapoor. They are two people who have played a huge role in changing my life.” About Udita’s discomfort he says, “Udita has no issues with Shraddha. They are comfortable with each other. I’d like to believe that my wife has implicit faith in me. She knows that both Aditya and Shraddha have a special place in my heart.”
There have been rumours about Udita installing CCTV camera’s in his office, but Mohit rubbished them. The filmmaker insists that he had cast Shraddha in his upcoming film Ek Villain only because she suited the character. “I cast actors only if they suit the role,” he says.
