Monsoon may take four more days to reach Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

Visakhapatnam: It might take another four days before the monsoon reaches Rayalaseema and subsequently, coastal Andhra and Telangana. The main reason behind the delay in arrival of monsoon to AP can be attributed to the continuance of its first spell over the West Coast areas of Kerala, coastal Karnataka and Goa. Prof O.S.R.U. Bhanu Kumar, of Andhra University, pointed out that this continuance of firstspell of monsoon is not good for the east coast. He said, â Monsoon showers appear in spells.
