Husain, hoaxes and hopes
The Husain secret
The city has a fantastic collection of paintings by M.F. Husain. But the owners are very guarded about their collection and often refuse to speak about it. Even the biggest collectors have always kept mum and a recent example is a popular club owner who is rumoured to have a six-foot Husain. During the Husain anniversary on June 8, he dodged inquiries from all over about that particular painting.
