Hyderabad: While this year saw actor Mahesh Babu’s son Gautam making his debut with 1 Nenokkadine, next year, we could see Venkatesh’s son Arjun on screen too.
The Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan-starrer Gopala Gopala was launched recently and it is rumoured that Arjun — who was present at the launch – may have a cameo in the movie.
When Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu’s sons had attended the audio launch of Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, many had assumed both kids might debut soon.
And now, after Gautam, it seems to be Arjun’s turn and even Venkatesh has often said that while he doesn’t have any objection to his son entering the industry, he should complete his education first.
The star, however, denies news of an imminent debut from Junior.
“He just came along for the opening. He, and my father (Ramanaidu), did the honours for the muhurat shot for my film. That’s all,” he clarifies.
On the other hand, Ramanaidu is keen on making a film along the lines of the Akkinenis’ Manam.
“He is looking for a good script and wants to act in the film along with his sons and grandsons — that includes Rana, Naga Chaitanya, Abhiram and Arjun. That’s been his desire for long and he has been asking writers to come up with good subjects,” a source has revealed.
Ramanaidu had also revealed earlier that he wanted to direct Venkatesh, Rana and Arjun in a film if he got a good subject. So, the search for a script is currently on.
