Hyderabad: Nayantara’s tattoo of Prabhu Deva’s name on her left arm the first letter P in English and the remaining one in Tamil — is quite well known. Almost as well as her short-lived romance with choreographer, filmmaker, Prabhu Deva.
The two were quite serious about each other but eventually severed their ties and called it quits. They moved on but Nayan hasn’t been able to get rid of the tattoo, and it remains totally visible in some of her films.
While the media has been focusing on the tattoo, Nayan has remained unperturbed and claims she’s actually happy with it. Earlier, there were rumors that Nayan visited Bangkok to erase the tattoo, but the actress came back with the tattoo still on her hand. Since it is a permanent tattoo, it can be removed only through a laser treatment which sources say the Billa girl is scared of. Now, however, a little birdie tells us that Nayan is seriously considering removing the tattoo and is enquiring about procedures.

Deepika’s new soft drink ad shows her neck minus the tattoo. It could be clever photoshopping, expert makeup or permanent removal. The fact is that the tattoo was hidden.
Meanwhile, Nayan has been handling questions on the tattoo issue well, whenever they have cropped up. We will soon know whether the buzz about removal of the tattoo through laser treatment is true or not.
