Vidyut Jamwal learns to act, secretly joins an acting workshop
Mumbai: Vidyut Jamwal, who has just started shooting for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Yaara’, has gone well prepared on the sets in Dehradun. The actor, a month before the shoot, made a quite trip to Delhi to learn the traits of acting with prominent theatre director N K Sharma. While he is top notch with his action due to years of training in martial arts, this film needed him to get acquainted to intense procedures of acting as well.
A source told Deccan Chronicle, “ He did this for the film and to make sure he comes well prepared. He went to Delhi last month and spent many days understanding the nuances of acting. He has worked on having variations in his performance while facing the camera.”
‘Yaara’, directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, has Irrfan Khan, Vidyut Jamwal, Amit Sadh and Shruti Haasan as the main cast. It’s an official remake of Les Lyonnais, a 2011 French film directed by Oliver Marchal.
When asked Tigmanshu on Vidyut’s dedication for an acting session he said, “ Yes, Vidyut did go to NK Sharma and I thing an action session, a workshop is needed before every film for the actor to understand the gravity of the role.”
