Fell asleep on a journey? Your Android can wake you up before arrival

Google Now has included a feature to wake you up when you are close to your destination

Mumbai: Google has been constantly including features and stuff to make the experience of using an Android handset even better. Included this time on Google Now is a new feature (though not too new to Android users), which has the ability to wake you p (via alarm) a few minutes before you reach your destiny.

Google Now has incorporated a load of features, of which one is finding your way around using maps. Google Now has the ability to help you through your route while finding your destination from the source. So if you are too tired and want a nap on the bus or train, or are simply too drunk to keep your eyes open just let Google Now take charge.

Hit the Google Now app, choose your destination and hit an alarm icon on the you will see on the right. The application will send the alarm through the local clock app and alert you about your destination a few minutes before you are going to reach your destination. You can set the alarm according to your preference as to when it should alert you—when it should alert you before you reach. You might need to freshen up before you exit the transport or might have to get your luggage ready before you alight, or you know that the traffic conditions are bad in the area you have to go.

Though there are a few similar apps that can do exactly the same, Google has incorporated this feature in its new update.
