Not concerned about giving a box office hit: Arulnithi

I choose films that are subtle and different in genre, says the confident actor

Chennai: Arulnithi is someone who wants to do two good, watchable films a year and not push himself for that Number 1 position. After the success of his last flick, Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavanigalum, the actor is all set for the release of his next film, Naalu Policum Nalla Irundha Oorum, which is directed by Srikrishna and in which he plays the role of a constable.

“Remya Nambeesan plays my love interest in the film,” Arulnithi says. “Singam Puli and Bhagavathi Perumal play a pivotal role in the film, which is a complete comedy entertainer. It also has elements of a good love story and emotions in it. The shoot of the film is almost over.”

His next film too is with Srikrishna. “I choose films that are subtle and different in genre. I am happy to be a part of good scripts; I am not bothered about giving a box office hit,” the actor says.
