The ace cinematographer has been admitted into the ICU of a city hospital

Chennai: One of the renowned technicians of the Indian film Industry, cinematographer Ashok Kumar, has been suffering from serious health issues over the past month, having been admitted into the ICU of a city hospital.
He has been cinematographer for super hit films, such as Uthiri Pookal, Jhonny, Shankar’s Jeans and more.
His son Akash, also a cinematographer, said, “He is in a critical condition and has been hospitalised for more than a month. He is one of the best technicians in the Indian film industry.”
