Taapsee Pannu plays a gambler
The Delhi beauty is keen on experimenting with interesting roles

Chennai: Taapsee, the glam girl who has made her presence felt in Bollywood recently, seems to be in an experimental mode when it comes to her upcoming projects. Her bubbly and innocent character in Ajith’s Arrambam was appreciated.
Now the buzz is that the Aadukalam actress who bagged Aishwarya Dhanush’s second directorial venture, Vai Raja Vai, will be seen in a role with grey shades. The leggy lass said in an earlier interview that she was ready to play characters of substance.
Taapsee, who is busy with films like Ganga (Muni 3) and Niraj Pandey’s Bollywood film opposite Akshay Kumar where she is playing an undercover agent, clarified that she was not going villainous in VRV though it is not a regular role.
“It's a standalone character and has nothing to do with either the hero or the villain,” she says.
“It’s an edgy character, this is a girl who visits casinos regularly. She has been appointed a specific task which she carries out.”
