Chennai: Seems like Delhi beauty Taapsee Pannu is the latest in tinsel town to have been bitten by the tattoo bug. The busy-as-a-bee star who was in the city for a private event turned a few heads with a seductive tattoo inked on her left leg. The cheery lass, however, didn’t shy away from explaining when quizzed.
“It represents a free soul, femininity and so on. The tattoo also denotes a flying mind, confidence and a pleasant aura. These are things which are very much related to me. Moreover, I don’t believe in getting inked sans a meaning or just for the heck of it. I’m a person who goes by my heart and I wanted it to reflect this,” she said.
The actress reveals that she has another tattoo on her back which, however, wasn’t visible. Taapsee quips that it is nothing but her name that is tattooed in ambigram script, which requires reading it from the reverse direction.
“I was yearning to get myself inked for some time and am happy that I got two now. I was particular that I should get something that is close to my nature and that it stays with me throughout my life,” she laughs.
