Google set to improve users' security

Google is working on making its high-end encryption easy to protect users’ privacy

Washington: Google is working to improve users' security by making high-end encryption easy, while Apple is set to add privacy-focused search engine DuckDuckGo to their next OS.

According to CNET, Google will offer high-level e-mail security that anyone will be able to use in the Chrome browser. Google will be using OpenPGP, the same technology Edward Snowden used to communicate with journalists.

Encryption has gained priority since Snowden leaked documents about NSA spying, and tech companies are working to offer high-end security and privacy to people.

Apple too is in the race, and their new OS will have DuckDuckGo the privacy centric search engine, as the default search engine for iPhone, iPad and Mac, the report said.
