Bengaluru: Congress sources strongly indicated that Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Dr G. Parameshwar, former Union minister C.M. Ibrahim, former Karnataka ministers H.M. Revanna and Rani Satish and Ivan D’Souza have been chosen for the five Legislative Council seats which the Congress party can win in the forthcoming elections.
The names were reportedly decided upon by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Dr Parameshwar in consultation with Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Congress leader in the Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge and party general secretary Digvijay Singh.
