48-year-old man was awarded death penalty for abducting, raping and killing a girl

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday agreed to hear the appeal of a 48-year-old man awarded death penalty by the Rajasthan HC for abducting, raping and killing his four-year-old neighbour in 2012. His juvenile son was also his accomplice in the crime.
Convict Kalu Khan and his son had raped the girl, and when her condition worsened, they killed her before burying her in a pit.
