Mumbai: The cancer tragedy has hit the Singh household once again as Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh is diagnosed with vocal chord cancer.
According to Indian Express, the ex-Indian player was diagnosed with cancer a few months back. Yograj Singh followed the New York-based doctor’s advice and was taking medicines prescribed by him. However, his voice choked and he breathlessness and cough started to trouble him. Hence, his family opted for surgery in the United States.
Yograj was a bit reluctant to get the treatment earlier. But after Yuvraj’s resistance he decided to undergo the treatment. However, he chose to admit himself in the hospital suggested by an expert.
While Yograj did not require chemotherapy, he had to go through a surgery to remove the tumour. Following a successful surgery, Yograj Singh is currently recovering in the United States.
