Vedhika signs a Kannada film
Bengaluru: Vedhika, who impressed us with her acting skills while also sporting a tan in Bala’s Paradesi, is now on a signing spree. The glam doll, who just finished shooting for Vasantha Balan’s Kaaviya Thalaivan, has now signed a Kannada film, a love story that has golden star, Ganesh, playing the lead.
“I am happy to be with Ganesh and director M.D. Sridhar. This is my second film in Kannada, and I am sure it will do well.” The shoot of the film is likely to commence in Bangalore today (June 6). Vedhika has also signed for a Malayalam film in which she pairs opposite Kunchacko Boban.
“The film is directed by Vysakh and it’s titled Cousins. It will be a big-budget commercial entertainer,” says the actress who is happy about the way her career is shaping up.
“I am excited to shoot for good films in all the three languages, Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil. Also, I am happy to pair with top stars in all the three industries.”
The audio of Kaaviya Thalaivan is all set for release; the film also stars Siddharth and Prithviraj. It’s a period film, set in the backdrop of Madurai, portraying the life of drama artists who lived in the 1920s.
