Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 unveiled at Computex 2014

The in-built storage of these tablets is 16GB, which is expandable up to 64GB via microSD card

Mumbai: Dell unveiled two new tablet models- Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 at Computex 2014 in Taiwan. These tablets run on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

The Venue 7 tablet comprises of a 7-inch IPS display having a resolution of WXGA 1280x800 pixels. This tablet is powered by a dual-core Intel Atom (Z3460) 'Merrifield' 1.6GHz processor, including 1GB of RAM. On its camera front, Dell Venue 7 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and 1-megapixel front-facing camera as well. The tablet weighs 290 grams, and measures 193x118x8.95mm

Dell Venue 8 comes with an 8-inch full-HD IPS display, having a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. Powered by a dual-core Intel Atom (Z3480) 'Merrifield' 2.1GHz processor, it also includes 1GB of RAM.

This Venue tablet features a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Venue 8 weighs 338 grams and comes with dimensions 216x130x8.95mm.

The in-built storage of both these tablets is 16GB, which is also expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. Both these tablets are fuelled with a 4550mAh battery.

Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 are available in two colours which includes black and red.
