Mr Rao might invite Mr Modi on Telangana Formation Day celebrations
Hyderabad: K. Chandrasekhar Rao, the Chief Minister of the newly formed state of Telangana, is likely to call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Union ministers in New Delhi during his two-day visit to the national capital on June 6 and June 7. During the trip, Mr Rao would be seeking the PM and the Union ministers’ cooperation and funds for the development of Telangana.
Sources say that Mr Rao would finalise the dates for the proposed Telangana Formation Day celebrations and invite Mr Modi to “inaugurate” the new state of Telangana.
He could not invite Mr Modi on June 2 as there was no administration in place then.
