Hyderabad: To attract new investors to Telangana, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to set up an exclusive cell attached to the CMO. It would provide a single-window clearance system with escort services for investors right from “landing at the airport until completion of all formalities for setting up the industry.”
The CM and IT minister K.T. Rama Rao have already begun a dialogue with top honchos of the Indian industry in this regard. They have also sought suggestions from the captains of industry.
The new government is banking heavily on the proposed Information Technology Investment Region “The city has gained international recognition as an IT hub as well as in other industries. With land, manpower and infrastructure, it is the destination for investors from various sectors,” said Mr K.T. Rama Rao.
Dispelling misgivings on the law and order front, he made it clear that the TRS will give top priority to maintenance of law and order in Telangana.
