Hyderabad: A while back, producer Dil Raju announced that he was looking for new faces for his film Kerintha. Despite auditions, he couldn’t get the right person. According to a source, the producer has now roped in Sumanth Aswin, son of producer MS Raju, as the lead actor. This will be Sumanth Aswin’s third film; his last film Anthaka Mundu Aa Tharuvatha has done well at the box-office. Adivi Sai Kiran is the director for Kerintha.
The film was announced long ago as they scouted for new faces, they even approached for Raj Tarun of Uyyala Jampala fame and Revanth of Intinta Annamayya fame; but drew a blank. They can’t wait any more as Kerintha has been too delayed and the producer wants to concentrate on his next project, so they finally decided not to look for a fresh face.
The film is a youthful entertainer for the present youth. The film’s shooting will start soon and the producer may announce the details in a short time. Mickey J. Mayor is providing the music.
