K Chandrasekhar Rao promises increments, health cards for government employees
KCR announced a “special Telangana increment” and health cards for gov employees
Hyderabad: Promising to offer a people-centric and development-oriented government, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday talked tough on “political corruption” stating that rooting it out would be on the top of his government’s agenda to ensure transparent governance.
During his first speech as CM, delivered at Parade Grounds on Monday, Mr Rao showered sops on government employees and police.
He announced a “special Telangana increment” and health cards for government employees, weekly offs to police staff and medical allowance to traffic police. He promised salaries and pensions for them on par with Central government employees.
