Mumbai: In Japan, socially conscious people have found an interesting, yet embarrassing, way to knock the sense back into those who end up drunk on the road. Ogilvy & Mather and a Tokyo bar chain, called Yaocho, have come together in a campaign that turns these drunkards into PSA billboards, reports Design Taxi.
Volunteers paint around the fallen drunkards to make them look like part of a poster and then post it on social media to spread awareness.
They have titled their project ‘The Sleeping Drunks Billboard,’ and they use the NOMISUGI hashtag that translates as ‘too drunk’.
